BML wants to make sure that you feel great about the teacher with whom we match you. We offer a FREE 30-minute Studio Meet and Greet to first-time students regardless of age or previous ability. This provides the student the opportunity to meet a contracted teacher and get a feel for their vibe.

What if the first teacher isn't a good match? Can I have another introductory lesson with a different teacher?

We have a very high success rate of matching students with teachers. However, should you not be satisfied with your introductory lesson you may try a different teacher in order to find a better match.

Lessons Options

Where do lessons take place?

You have the choice of Housecall Lessons, that is having the lesson in your home or office or Studio Lessons which are located at your teacher’s studio or home.

How long are lessons?

Our most popular lesson length is 60 minutes. This allows the ideal amount of time for weekly students to focus on new and reviewed material.

We also offer 2-hour Master Classes for students who would rather have extra time to really dig in. This is a popular lesson length for our production and songwriting students.

We also offer 45 minute short lessons for students of all ages in addition to 30 minute lessons for toddlers who have not yet developed the focus for a longer lesson.

How often are lessons?

We understand that while some students may wish to attend lessons each week, others may prefer a less frequent or irregular schedule.

Our Weekly Attendance Plan offers weekly students the lowest cost per lesson with the convenience of automated recurring billing.

Our Flexible Attendance Plan gives students the choice to create their own schedule. Students simply purchase credits and redeem them at their convenience!

Occasionally we encounter a dedicated student who wishes to meet for lessons more than once per week. Very often such a student chooses to study with 2 or more BML teachers. We currently have a student who has a weekly guitar lesson with a guitar teacher and a second weekly lesson with an ear training specialist. Other common combinations are voice + an instrument or production + an instrument. We are happy to help you design a curriculum to best suit your needs. We offer discount packages to these dedicated few!

Do you offer both one-on-one and group lessons?

Yes, in addition to one-on-one lessons, we also offer lessons for small groups of students. Contact us for details.

Do you offer gift certificates?

BML offers gift certificates for packages of lessons. A .pdf can be emailed to you the same day you purchase the gift certificate. Contact us for details.
